Description
Your driver will meet you at the agreed meeting point and you will start your shore excursion in Martinique.
You leave the island’s capital Fort-de-France and drive to the south of the island. During the approximately one-hour drive, you will make a stop at your first stop. You have some time to look around in the shops and maybe find one or the other nice souvenir. Make another stop at the nearby Trois Rivières distillery. In the associated shop you can convince yourself of the taste of the local rum during a tasting. You will then continue your journey and head to the Le Marin viewpoint. From there you have a magnificent view over the bay of Le Marin with its picturesque marina. It is one of the most important starting points for sailing boats in the Caribbean, so that countless small sailing boats can often be admired in the water from land. You will also pay a short visit to the market in Le Marin (if open) to get an impression of the wares of the local traders. Then it’s on to Les Salines Beach in the southern part of Martinique. You will now spend about 3.00 hours on the small, light-colored sandy beach near the village of Saint-Anne. Use the time according to your wishes: walk along the water, swim in the clear water or find a shady spot under the palm trees to relax. Whatever you decide, you won’t soon forget the wonderful backdrop of the beach. As the journey continues, review the most beautiful moments of the day before you finally reach the port in time.
